Jon has a distinguished record in corporate finance spanning over two decades. During that time, he has initiated and completed a wide range of mergers, acquisitions, sales and financings for a broad range of clients including transactions involving leading multi-national publicly-traded and privately-held corporations, small-capitalization public companies and other middle-market clients. Jon assumed his current role in April 1994, and in his management capacity, oversees the entire operation of the Firm with a particular emphasis on the Firm's investment banking unit, George K. Baum Advisors. He also serves on the Board of Directors of American Italian Pasta Company, a NASDAQ-listed company headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. Prior to joining George K. Baum & Company, he served as a Vice President with Salomon Brothers Inc in its Merger & Acquisition Department in New York. Jon holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.S. degree from Kansas State University.
